Step 1: Design Your Kit

  1. Browse through the different patio cover Types (Alumawood or Wood)
  2. Choose the patio cover size that best suites your project.
  3. Choose your attachment style (Attached or Free Standing)
  4. Customize your kit (Color or Stain, Beam Profile, Brace, End Caps, Columns, Etc)

Step 2: Contact your Building Department/City (optional)

  1. Consider all local specific engineering laws and factors – Snow load, wind factor, etc for your area
  2. Present the supplied Kit Engineering Packet to present to the building department.
  3. Get your housing plot map to plan out your patio cover and visualize your lot plus neighboring properties.
  4. Apply for a permit.

Step 3: Order Your Kit

  1. After choosing your kit dimensions and customizing the options, add it your cart.
  2. Fill out your personal information and shipping details.
  3. Submit your order! Most kits arrive in 2-3 weeks. 
  4. You will receive a follow up email with a tracking number when your order is ready to ship.

Step 4: Prepare for your Kit

  1. Have ready or purchase all the necessary tools and equipment to assemble your patio kit.
  2. Install a Ledger Board (directions will be available with your order)

Step 5: Build your kit

  1. Your kit has arrived what now? Start building!
  2. Use the supplied building instructions with your Kit – it will guide you through every step to ensure a proper installation.
  3. Email your Kit Manufacturer if you have any questions regarding installation or your DIY efforts.
